How do you define success?

I can still remember my very first dollar that I have made online. I cannot really remember how long it took me because I did not actually care how long it took me. Some people take 3 months while others can take up to 6 months. It is very rare to see someone make their first sale after 6 months.

The same goes for those that are now doing internet marketing full time and I then realized that each person has their own threshold that they need to reach in order to be part of the affiliate marketing success stories. For instance you might get someone that will feel successful if they reach the following goals:

1. $500 pm
2. $1000 pm
3. $2000 pm
4. $5000 pm
5. $10 000 pm
6. $30 000 pm (You actually do get people that are making this much from affiliate marketing)

And the list goes on. Some people take 2 years to make $10 000 while others take 1 year to make $1000. I have also realized that each person is different in how fast they reach their goals because not all of us have the same responsibilities and driving force to succeed.

Most of the success stories will come from a training community called Wealthy Affiliate. This is an affiliate marketing training course that will teach you how to build your own affiliate marketing business. Keep in mind that these are not fake testimonials such as that from most of your other make money online products.

I cannot remember how many times I have heard this question. I always counter it with another question such as:

“How much do you want to earn?“

The fact is that there is really no limit to how much you can earn, but it all depends on how long and how hard you work at it.

Do you want to earn $30 000 per month? Maybe it will take you around 5 years to be very conservative.
