Good time of the day, my friends! Today we continue our walk through the delightful Brielmeersen Recreation Park.
In addition to the beautiful nature and sports facilities for children there is a zoo. Animals here are the most common, which can be found on almost every farm.
As for birds... Well, the birds don't exactly live in a zoo, they're here of their own free will and can move around freely. Wild geese for example hastily migrated from the green pond to the nearest river (I will tell you more about the river in the next post) as soon as they heard that we are approaching the zoo...
I'm just kidding. Me and @wolf-of-sarcasm walked quietly. Someone else must have scared the geese off.
Storks are one of the birds that live in the Park freely. They are fenced off from people. People do not climb over the fence, but birds can fly away if they want. But they don't. The perfect zoo.
These storks built their nests very high. I hope they don't have a habit of falling out of bed...
If you go to the left you will eventually get to the place where chickens, ducks, donkeys and ponies live. If you go straight then you also will come to the same place but you will have to walk a bit longer... I don't know why I've been writing these instructions...
Aha! I told you! These are chickens...
...and ducks flying over the fence to flop into the creek...
...and a donkey...
...that was very interested in my phone...
...and a pony that tried to bite my hand. Although maybe it thought I was giving it something tasty instead of just trying to stroke it :D
