WCE win by 4 points with our last 2 goals in the last minute.
It was low scoring with Port kicking 5 or their 9 goals in the first quarter. They then lost 3 star players to injuries early in the 3rd, leaving wce with the rest of the game to close the gap. And it took them every second and more to get back in front for the win.
McGovern kicked after the siren to win the game, and graduate to a professional afl forward.
Poor old Port have had a tough couple of years against us having lost after the siren during overtime in finals last season.
This win takes a lot of pressure off the season, probably only having to win one of our last 2 to hold onto second place.
Had to watch the last 2 mins again was so good. Lucky to get the win while the tream adjust to no gaff
