Hello steemians, welcome to another superb edition of THE INTERVIEW; Today , we will be having someone whom i can call steemit best inspirational/motivational writer. Trust me on this; You all need to visit Her blog After this to confirm what i am saying.
Ladies and gentlemen i present to you
Here we go:
INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hi, My name is Jayne and I am a Steemit junkie! Haha - just kidding! (Well not entirely!) So, This is me! In all my strawberry blondness... once shunned and teased for being a Freckle face and carrot head, but now quite comfortably proud...
I am Capetonian born and bred - for those of you that don't know... that is possibly the most beautiful city in the world, which just happens to be located in South Africa...
I am blessed enough to own my own design and print business down in the deep South - and whilst I did design full time for most of my career, I don't do as much of it anymore, as my time is donated to the running of my business. I began my journey into the world of graphic design at the start of the new millennium.
I am very much a "Places to be, people to see, things to achieve" kind of gal... I thrive on expanding my horizons on all levels. I am a lover of music, nature, people and life in general. My son is the great love of my life and shows me everyday what unconditional love truly means. My career is my passion, it is what I thrive on daily and is my main outlet for creativity. I love the diversity I have at my fingertips - being able to step into the shoes of Managing Director, office admin, data capturer & "mini accountant" right through to customer liaison, sales, marketing and then finally (last but definitely not least) design work. I have been blessed to no end... and express gratitude for all that I have achieved and all that I know is still in the process of being achieved.

HOW DID YOU GET TO KNOW ABOUT STEEMIT?
Well truth be told, after almost a year of coaxing by my eldest brother to join Steemit - I DID!!! Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP please!!! lol! The brother I am referring to is the eldest of three of my brothers and currently lives in London. He is HECTICALLY into his Crypto Currency and all things like minded. He also knows what an absolute social media JUNKIE his little sister is and how much of a passion I have for writing, engaging and sharing... and well, here I am! :)
WHAT ARE YOUR STEEMIT POSTS PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON
In a word - I would probably say - MOTIVATIONAL... I have always said that I would like to inspire and motivate people.
I was definitely blessed with an ability to “see through the crap” and to VERY efficiently and often brutally, problem solve - and although I own a design and print business, I have recently been discussing this fact with my family and close friends more and more frequently… yet it seemed somewhat impossible, considering that I have no qualifications in related fields - and I am not about to attempt being a business owner, mother AND student – AINT happening! Lol
Steemit has ABSOLUTELY opened that door for me. Well that is what I “feel” anyway. Yes, I have a blog site and yes, I have been writing elsewhere, but none have felt quite as “engaging” as this platform. Here – I feel like my writing has a purpose!
WHAT HAVE YOUR UPS AND DOWNS BEEN ON STEEMIT SO FAR?
To be frank, it has pretty much been "up's" all the way to be honest. I started out not knowing arse from face and I think I have come a long way, in a relatively short space of time. If I were to pin point a "downer" it would probably be the few trolls that lurk around in the background of Steemit. Whilst predominantly a very upbeat and positive platform - there are those few... and they really just spoil the experience for everyone with their pointless "quips". However - I have found the mute button a very useful too ;)
DO YOU HAVE ANY SIGNIFICANT STEEMIT PROJECTS THAT YOU ARE WORKING ON?
Honestly, No. I consider my blog feed a project all on its own. I dedicate an ENORMOUS amount of time, effort and passion into what I put out on a daily basis and juggling that between running my business and being a mom - I think my plate of aspirations is rather full :)
IF YOU WERE THE FOUNDER OF STEEMIT WOULD YOU HAVE ANY PLANS OF CHANGE IN THE PIPELINE?
Hmmm... I think that the brain children behind @steemit truly deserve a SUPER SIZED noddy badge, and I know they work tirelessly at developing this already phenomenal platform, so I have very little to add to their already amazing achievements... but if I was to suggest ONE thing - it would probably be - the ability to re-share your already posted content, at least just once - after the initial submission. The timeline moves incredibly fast and there is often ad LOT of really amazing content that disappears, never to be seen. I am relentless in my interaction and social media sharing, but not everybody is - and some do not have the know how... so this one "second chance" could be a real game changer for them.
WHERE DO YOU STEEMIT IN 5 YEARS?
Easy - SOARING!!!!!
ANY ADVICE FOR OTHER STEEMIANS?
I am going to answer this question with an extract from an article I wrote previously - because I do not think I could possibly put it any better than I already did....
When I joined the @Steemit community (and yes, it is VERY much a community!) I can honestly say, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. For years now, I have been studying other social media platforms (by myself, for myself). I literally LIVED on them – ALL of them! I am probably THE most annoying person to follow if I think about it lol, because not only do I post frequently for my personal pleasure, but I also use the platforms for promotional purposes.
So when I stepped onto this platform, I expected to be met with pretty much the same fundamental “make-up” as all the other social media sites that I frequented. I could not have been more wrong! And I realised that VERY quickly!
There is a saying “birds of a feather flock together” or “you are who you hang with” if you prefer.
Now considering that in the initial stages, Steemit was a platform predominately frequented by crypto geniuses and financial gurus – it is not at all surprising that this platform stands apart from all others.
As a general rule in life, you will find that individuals who are financially driven or successful, tend to be over achievers in one or several other facets of their lives – be it academics, the arts, hobbies, business, sports, whatever. All those aspects are a part of their complete character dynamic. The key ingredient to my mind, being – PASSION! They are all passionate people with exceptional drive.
So when a group of people with that type of mind-set step up together onto a stage to share their view points and/or opinions, it is unlikely that you are going to walk away anything but inspired or motivated.
That – was the VERY first thing which I discovered was “different” about this platform.
Yes, there is financial reward for quality content shared, but that should not be the focus. If that is going to be your approach, then I think you will most likely end up feeling more frustrated and hopeless than motivated.
“Focusing your life solely on making a buck, shows a poverty of ambition.”
I am in MANY respects a complete babe in the woods here on Steemit, but I do know one thing, I have finally found a place where I can engage with like-minded people and I am loving every second of it! I have connected with, and made friends with, SO many AMAZING SOULS! – Whales, Dolphins and Minnows alike. I have received tremendous support, encouragement and feedback from each and every one of them and I am EVER grateful!!!
So my advice - DON'T SQUANDER an amazing opportunity to be a part of something awesome! Stop looking at the money and start engaging!!!!
Thank you very much for your time and for granting this interview.. That will be all for this edition and I hope we all enjoyed it.
Till Next Time
KEEP STEEMING

I really loved this concept, @jemimah! It's awesome that you got the idea to interview fellow Steemit users so that other people can have a chance to get to know people and content that they might not have otherwise been exposed to! Great work, keep it up! I'm looking forward to future interview pieces.
