AFRICA AS A CONTINENT

Africa is a continent unlike any other,it's a continent endowed and blessed with immense natural and human resources,as well as great economic diversity,it is rich in cultural heritage and breathtaking tourist attraction.
Africa is the second largest continent in the world both in size and population,it covers about fifth of the world's landmass,it is home to 56 countries two of which their independence is disputed,it is home to over 1.216 billion people of which speak over 1500-2000 different languages,despite Africa being the second largest continent ,it has the shortest coastline.
The first major form of civilization in Africa dates back to 3150BC in Egypt,the second was in the kingdom of kush(now located in Sudan),Africa being the most religious continent is home to people of different believes perspective and philosophy.
Africa happens to be the home to one of the seven wonders of the world(the Victoria fall),it's also home to the world longest river(river Nile), the world's second largest freshwater lake and the world's largest hot desert(the Sahara desert). There are more to Africa than meet the eyes and by far more than what i have written,hoping to write more,it's my first post here....
