My Generational Nonchalancy:African Step Up

in africa •  7 years ago

Ford says "thinking is the hardest word there is, that is why so few people engage in it.

Today I'd been thinking why the process of thinking has become so tiresome for our generation, why people would prefer to reside in the present and avoid by all means having any thoughts concerning their tomorrow.
As a matter of fact, the last 5 persons who I've asked today, "hey, what's the plan for the future?", has given answers that circumvents the actual truth invariably meaning they have no answer.

The core difference between those who are willing to give a thought about the morrow and those who just live from day to day is the ability of perception and predestination.
Why shouldn't I worry about how my tomorrow would look like, if I really want it to be awesome.
It's been a cause for reflective thinking all through today.
If this persons just absolutely believe in the all sufficient God?
If this person really believe the "All is well" mantra?
If this persons are just outrightly lazy?

I am not trying to become pessimistic in any way, but I am a little bothered of our generation nonchalance.
