Africa Hippo Rescue. This small town in africa saves baby hippos and takes care of them till they are strong enough again to go back into the wild.

On the journey through africa my parents came across this little village where they had a hippo laying in the sun. They where told these people saved baby hippo's of whom their parents where killed by poachers. They take the baby hippo's and take care of them. Wash them, feed them and really get them big and strong so they can get back in the wild again. I saw this picture and when i heard the story it brought a tear to my eye. I find it fascinating to see how these people can do so much for nature and eachother with the little resources they have. Take a look at the world and how many countries always need money for solutions.. we should all learn from Africa how they deal with many things. Sure there is poverty over there and resources are very little. But they rely on eachother.. That creates a bond imo and in that way to me they are richer than the wealthiest people on earth!
