South Africa here "wee" come!

Never be afraid to dream.

My No. 1 Bucket List item is about to come to fruition. It started with an old, decaying tree that reminded of something you would see on the African Savannah, instead of Southwest Ohio.

The city, has sense cut it down because it was a danger to it's residents. But before they did, I admired this trees long, leafless limbs that stretched out for days . . . the lifeless, yet sturdy trunk, that seemed to be built to sustain the claws of animals scurrying for shelter and protection from a life-ending chase through the African Savannah.

I named this freak of nature, "my inspiration tree," and she inspired me daily as I walked my 60 pound Golden Doodle past her to do her business.

I would speak to the inspiration tree and she would speak back and I'd get a clear visualization of a cheatah smiling down on me, all the while stretched out on it's long, long branches.

Anyway, through a series of strange and almost bizarre circumstances or I have been blessed with the opportunity to live out my dream of vacationing on the African Safari.

In less than one week, I'll begin my journey. Stay tuned for details.
