Jwaneg- The Prince of Mines
Crude Oil and Precious Stones , the two of the Africa's huge resources and source of revenue. Fossil fuel in abundant in west African Countries, Gems in East and Southern African Countries. This two entities had put Africa in the spotlight for ages.
Jwaneng is the World's Richest Diamond Mine by value with a whooping 12-15 Million USD carats of Diamond production annually. This is a major source of high-quality Diamonds for the Global markets.
"The Prince of Mine" as it was nicknamed had helped Botswana become one of Africa's wealthiest countries. The massive cut- 8 expansion project of the mine will extent the life span of the mine to at least 2035 and this will generate several jobs for the citizens.
