Africaunchained weekly contest (First Edition, contest duration extended for a week with 20SBD pool prize).

in africaunchained •  7 years ago  (edited)

Good day guys,
Here comes the first edition of our Community(Africaunchained) contest, I have been thinking this for a while now, how can we Africans be Unchained? But what kept on running on my mind was the Chain! aside being a tool for punishment and slavery, can't we have the Chain as a tool for Togetherness? If I would say, I would have said the Chain is actually the best tool for us why? The Chain can actually be a tool for us to create a Bound, a good and great Relationship but how can we do this when we aren't together? When we refuse to know each other? When we value not each other? I just guess we all had submitted to the oppression from the elites we have on our father's land. Many would say No! but I hardly see people working towards the positive or do you wanna make a change? Do you wanna brake the chain? Do you prefer the freedom? If yes, just join us to brake the chain by contributing to our projects on #africaunchained and also win for yourself some SBDs by taking part in the contest below. Thanks.

Africaunchained contest (First Edition).

I @tezzmax would be running this contest on weekly basis (every Sunday), I would be running this contest just to promote #africaunchained and to improve the financial status of all active and reliable Africans on Steemit.

I noticed, many Africans didn't enter for the last week contest, so I am extending the contest duration for another one week with a larger pool prize but I would also be sending 1SBD each to all the five participants we have for last week. Thanks to my boss and the founder of the #africaunchained community, for he donated the 20SBD pool prize.

Why this contest?

This contest is going to be a stepping stone and a great opportunity for all Africans on Steemit that are ready to make and change the story behind their financial life but it's just for those that are ready to change their stories and to make the chain brake!

And what's the contest all about?

This contest is a very simple one, I @tezzmax would be bringing up different themes and topics on weekly basis for the contest but mind you, it's would be related to Africa in one way or the other.

If you were a Leader in any African country, what would be your manifesto? What will that particular country be and mean to you? How would you see and cater for your people? What do you think your people would say about you at the end of the day? It's time to pour out your minds now!

How do I know if I am eligible for the contest?

This contest is a very simple one like I said earlier but there are still good rules to abide with, Firstly.........

  1. You must be an African (a legal citizen from any perspective) to participate in this contest.

  2. You must upvote and resteem this post.

  3. You must be mindful of racism.

What do I do to win this contest?

If you were a Leader in any African countries, what would be your manifesto? What will that particular country be and mean to you? How would you see and cater for your people? What do you think your people would say about you at the end of the day? It's time to pour out your minds now!

All you need to do is to read and understand the paragraph highlighted above and make a good write up of at least 500words using the same paragraph in formulating your article topic and drop the post link beneath this post as a comment.

Contest prizes!

The winners of the contest would be chosen with different style of judging.

  • First position (8.5SBD).

  • Second position (6.5SBD).

  • Third position (5.0SBD).

  • The first position would be chosen by our godfather @donkeypong but he couldn't, our community founder @destinysaid would pick the winner.

  • The second position would be chosen by @destinysaid or an unknown Steemian.

  • The third position would be given to the person with the highest votes on his or her comment beneath this post.

NOTE!

The five last participants can still submit the same post link they had for last week beneath this post as their post entry again. Thank you all.

Please guys, bare with us for now the prizes are still low but we never can tell, we accept donations and if any donation towards this contest is been recorded, I would have to edit this post and keep you guys updated. Let's trust God, all is gonna be fine, #Africa! Unchained!........

Thanks for stopping by.

Kindly follow our great African community @africaunchained, it's indeed a great place for all Africans to be. Africaunchained community founded by my steemitcrush @destinysaid.

The chain has been the identity of African, infact it has gotten to a point that instead of us African identifying ourselves to help each other we instead shy away from each because of our chain. I wish we can put the idea of the chain behind us and then come together to share idea on how to foster our own progress.
Concerning the contest before us. I have always dream of becoming the leader of my state, also my country. But till then, this are my agender for my dear nation.

  1. I have always had it in mind that the best way to reduce the identity of the chain is by empowering our active youth. This i will do by setting up educational audition in all region, from which i will choose at lease 20 people that will be sent abroad for training, after which they will return back to the country to put what they have learn into practice.
  2. I will do whatever it take to make the country have atleast 20 hours of electricity. This is because the development of the nation will be dependent on the availability of electricity for businesses, this will help foster progress of the country and nation at large. For now this two are the most important once. Thank you.
