Ageing is a natural process that everyone goes through. There is no shying away from it. Whatever you are as a person but the ultimate truth is that you will age up with time and no matter whatever you do your body will start showing the ageing signs in some or the other way. You may do a lot of external treatments to look young like Botox, hair coloring, antiaging treatments and all but that will not make you any younger by years. You may look a little less than your age but these artificial treatments not only are expensive but they have lot of side effects. Not only that, internally your body will give ageing signs as well.
The best way to age gracefully is by maintaining a certain level of lifestyle, which is with a healthy diet, meditation and yoga practices, other physical fitness forms, being healthy at mind. If our lifestyle is healthy then the ageing process will also slow down. If right kind of therapies are done and the right type of diet is consumed it will definitely work on the body in a much healthier way. My granny lived till the age of 84 and she lived independently. She managed her life all by herself, she would never take any help. She was old but she was very healthy. I guess that's what matters the most. It's not the outer appearance but the inner strength of the body that matters.
One of my aunt till her age of 60 she barely had any grey hair and I would always wonder how. That time I was too young and I would always tell her, that when I get old, I want my hair to be like yours. So, she told me that if you want it that way then start taking care of it from now itself, because if you suddenly think about it when you are 45 or 50 then it would be too late. She would do some very good home remedies of applying gooseberry and curry leaves juice and regularly oiling it. I do it on and off but not very religiously like her, but I still see the benefits. I am close to 50 now, I do have some white strands but countable so not much to bother about. I see these days by the age of 35 hair greying process starts.
Physically being fit is a big challenge as we age because our body has accumulated so much junk by then that all that starts showing up in some or the other form. I am ageing up and I have nothing to hide in that, nor does ageing bother me but yes bad health does bother me. I want to age gracefully, no matter if I am 50 or 60 or have grey hair, but my body should be fit in all ways, free of any diseases. That is all I want.
