In the first half of 2020, the new crown epidemic ravaged Europe and the Italian capital, Rome, was the hardest hit, with popular tourist attractions such as the Wishing Fountain, the Pantheon, the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, which used to be thronged with people, almost empty. Rome's economic activity and the social life of its people have been seriously affected. Looking back on our trip to Italy a few years ago, we were impressed by the beautiful scenery and the splendid culture of Rome.
