The Buenos Aires Difference

So, we head out to get something unique for the SteemIt photo challenge. Getting out of the city center, you know.

We get on the subway and I snap a shot of the tile work in the subway. The tiles are glaze fired and then assembled to make pictorial settings. These are late 1800's - early 1900's walls.

It's really normal to see these all over in Buenos Aires, but I found them intriguing when I first arrived so I am putting it out there.

It's the first day that it hit 70 degrees plus, so plants are just sprouting and ants getting their front doors cleared out.

My kids and I start out looking for the smallest things in nature to snap some entries for the #steemitphotochallenge and, well, here are some of my own personal thoughts. I think I have to get in closer.

And some of the rejects... Close but not good enough yet. I want to do something smaller than a dime....

Too much going on....

Mega macro, but not enough color...

Well, our tripped rendered really nice photos. The above are just teasers. @osame066 and I are both entering, and he has some good ones that I wish I had taken. I don't recall these plants being common in the Northern hemisphere. We hope you enjoy.
