Season 5 Episode 6 Agents of Shield Preview: Let's Go Fitz

If you're following me at all, you know by now I"m a huge fan of Agents of Shield. This is Marvels best show, and I'd actually place Marvel's Runaways in a close 2nd to some surprise. Both shows do an excellent job with their writing. While some of the other shows are a bit more exciting in terms of 'action', I've always been more of a story guy. If the story is great, any amount of action will simply be icing on the cake.

If the story is written poorly, no amount of action can save the day!

This is my problem with Marvels' Inhumans, which I hope is some how wiped from MCU cannon via Dr. Strange. Maybe they'll tell us that was a Movie inside the MCU, which will explain the horrible acting and overall plot. No way can Marvel allow those awesome characters, and even this incredible storyline to go out like that.

With so much potential, That show was supposed to set up Season 5 of Agents of Shield. In so many ways, Agents of Shield beat Marvel to the punch, by unveiling an Inhumans storyline as part of their show. It turned out, that one of the Agents, Daisy Johnson had Inhuman DNA. They smoothly tied in the entire backstory of the Kree and Skrull. This foundation by the television show, made it possible for Marvel Inhumans and they still dropped the baton!

Bad Writing takes No prisoners; and Leaves No Life -

The poor writing of Marvel's Iron fist seemed to carry over a bit into the Defenders. It all helps you appreciate just how great of a job the people behind Agents of Shield have been doing all along. Coming off the heels of a mind blowing Season 4, the first thing they do is throw us right back into suspense.

We open Season 5 with all sorts of questions, like how did they wind up in space? Who sent them into space and how did they get there? Then the season opens, and we find out they're Also In the future, except we have no idea how far into the future they are. Then, by the end of the 2nd show, we find out the earth has been totally destroyed, and that leaves us with even more questions - all while still grappling with why are the Kree here?

They spent 4 shows blowing our minds, and giving us questions and knowing we couldn't take much more, they began tying up knots. With the last show, they explained it all to us, and I for one was more than satisfied. Especially with the biggest question we had after 4 shows --- WHERE IS FITZ!!!

The 5th show of Season 5 for Agents of Shield dove right into that question. While doing so, we get the perfect resolution to just why Fitz had to go through all he went through, in Season 4. That's where we find him at the opening of the show, questioning himself and what kind of person he truly is. These are serious questions for him as any of us following the show for 4 seasons can understand.

What I love about the show is how it often relates to real life situations. Have you ever Questioned Yourself?

Often we go through things and make decisions that we're not always proud of making. However, sometimes those bad situations prepare us for what is coming later on in our lives.... Without 'spoiling it for you' here is a scene of Fitz arriving to save his friends.

As it turns out, everything he did prepared him for what he's going to have to do next ...... as Fitz prepares to save his team, from the hands of the Kree.

Here is a Sneak Peak at Season 5's Episode 6, for Marvel's Agents of Shield.

He's about to go hard on this entire Kree outpost. Cassius has no idea what is about to be unleashed upon him, as the Prophecy will be fulfilled. If you're not watching this show, you should be.

Oh yeah! I can't wait to see this episode tonight. The suspense is killing!

Runaways is great, but I wouldn't want Marvel to retcon Inhumans. The show was bad, but it clearly has potential. And now that Attilan is on Earth, and their 'great threat' is coming, I really want to see what Disney does with them next.

I always love to hear from you man, b/c you Clearly watch these shows!! Tonight is the Night! I can't wait either ----- I can also see your point on not Retconning Inhumans; (it was so terrible..... ) Maybe different writers could Redeem the show if it ever comes back: and you do have a point, now that Disney is fully at the helm, who knows where things can go.

If only Inhumans could take a clue from Agents of Shield and Runaways. Just saw the latest episodes of both, and my gosh, I'm out of breath with excitement! So sad that Runaways season 1 ends this week... I'm sure we're in for awesome power-scenes and a crushing cliffhanger. About to write my review now :)
