The book of Proverbs in the manner of storybooks and fables, that is to say in a metaphorical way, teaches us the origin of wisdom, of all things created by the Lord, wisdom is the oldest. Also in the Bible, the book of Genesis, explains to us that wisdom accompanies God from the beginning of all things, in the Bible the word spirit is used to designate wisdom, when creation was just chaos, the wisdom of God ordered all things: "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters" Genesis 1:2.
It is important to note that Aristotle in his book of Metaphysics places wisdom among the objects that we can perceive with intelligence, such as numbers. Wisdom is eternal, subtle, invisible, it forms the universe, constitutes us, and calls us to live with God. Wisdom is in essence the most important knowledge that a truly intelligent man can acquire, wisdom illuminates the minds of men progressively like the light of dawn; for the fools, on the other hand, wisdom is a heavy and uncomfortable stone, which does not take long to get rid of.
This is how the Sacred Scriptures describe the antiquity of wisdom:
"The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works,
before his deeds of old;
I was formed long ages ago,
at the very beginning, when the world came to be.
When there were no watery depths, I was given birth,
when there were no springs overflowing with water;
before the mountains were settled in place,
before the hills, I was given birth,
before he made the world or its fields
or any of the dust of the earth.
I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth" Proverbs 8:22-29.
