My Personal Accountability for the AGFAcademy Rewards

The AGFAcademy in collaboration with Oracle-d Company has made a great impact on the lives of very many young people in under developed countries since its introduction on the Steem Blockchain. I am one of the beneficiaries of this project whereby I have so far been rewarded with a total amount of $275.

About the AGFAcademy

The AGFacademy is a charity initiative founded by Andre Gray purposely to help young people in underdeveloped countries in learning soccer by availing them with the necessary training tools to use in order to become professional soccer players.
Andre Gray is a professional English Soccer player, currently playing for Watford in the English premiere league. Through leveraging the Steem Blockchain, the project has rewarded young soccer talented people in under developed countries in learning soccer.
The following information showcases the detailed information of how I have spent my earnings from the AGFAcademy:

Purchased soccer kits

A Soccer ball and a white soccer uniform for the training.

I have always loved playing soccer but lacked a personal soccer ball, a proper soccer uniform and Soccer shoes for my soccer training just because these tools are quite expensive in my Country. When the AGFAcademy was introduced last year on the Steem Blockchain, the first ball I used was a borrowed one and this was a hinderance to my daily soccer trainings. With my first earnings from the AGFAcademy I decided to spend some of it in buying a soccer ball and a white soccer uniform. I also bought some sports shoes to use in the training though these are not soccer shoes.
The video below show cases me doing the control drill in my new white soccer attire and also using my new soccer ball:

Soccer balls for the Kenyan Street boys

I engaged some Kenyan street boys in the AGFAcademy charity project when I travelled to Kenya earlier on this year purposely to help them out with the training. These young people had a passion for soccer but lacked soccer equipment to use in playing the game and even someone to train them. I found them having only one old ball and that ball was even out of pressure. I had to purchase a new one for them from Uganda and travelled with it to Kenya and handed it over to them. I spent 2 weeks in Kenya engaging them in the various AGFAcademy soccer drills and when I was leaving I left them with 2 new soccer balls to continue with the training.

My Travel to Kenya

Most of the earnings from AGFAcademy were spent on the trip to Kenya which was purposely to meet up with the Kenyan street kids and engage them in the AGFAcademy soccer drills.
Soccer training and community Engagement
On top of my daily training and participation in the AGFAcademy, I shared whatever I had learnt with various people here in Uganda and also in Kenya.

Charity among the needy Kenyans

I had to bond with the Kenyan street boys further by providing them with some food over the weekend due to the fact that these are always fed every weekend by the Agape Church in Madaraka. I had to participate in that program as well in order to win the trust and attract the attention of the founders and the needy boys as well to the new and exciting charity project “AGFAcademy.” It made a difference in their lives as they learnt some of the soccer basics that I passionately taught them.

I am so grateful to Andre Gray for the kind support rendered to me in order to better my soccer skills and for the motivation to help others through the Agfacademy.
