Hi y'all! It has been far too long since I posted any content about the counter economy. Today I'm bringing it back and committing to bringing you a Counter Economy Show Every Wednesday again at 7 pm pacific time. My goal is to have a guest on every show highlighting a good or service that can be obtained by participating in a little agorist activity. I will encourage you all to acquire what you need through the people I'll be featuring if at all possible and of course use currencies outside of the scope of the international banking cartel or bartering and as a last result gifting if we must use fiat currency from the cartel.

Buying ducks with HIVE from flemingfarm!

With this blog post I want to share with you not only some agorist activity but also highlight that I used HIVE to acquire what I was looking for. This is a great example of using HIVE as an everyday currency. I have been on the look out for chickens and or ducks since late August. I was able to get 4 chickens earlier and will include that story in part of a Counter Economy Wednesday show, but for now I want to write about using HIVE to buy ducks.

I recently created an online presence for our bi-monthly "Freedom Exchange here in the Spokane, WA area. One of the regulars to our exchange posted they had more ducks than they wanted and were looking to get rid of some. I inquired about what kinds they had available and decided on Buff's also known as Orpington's. They are decent egg layers and my son who loves birds liked their colors the best. The only issue was they were asking for turkey's in exchange on the listing. I informed them I had no turkey's but I did have crypto and asked about that not really thinking a farmer would be into crypto. Low and behold I found not only do they but this one even accepts HIVE and blogs here as well. I was very happy to be able to use crypto for the purchase but using HIVE something I earn here made it even better. A few more messages back and forth and we settled on a price for 2 and set a date for me to go pick them up!

I had previously sent the agreed on amount of HIVE to flemingfarm and here I am picking up the two Buff's. They settled down pretty quickly in the car and as you saw above are now part of the flock in my backyard.

Thanks again flemingfarm for the ducks and accepting HIVE as a form of payment it made participating in the agora quite easy.
