Scientists from ORNL (USA) have made a groundbreaking discovery that may increase and improve agricultural production. A team from Department of Energy has identified a gene that controls symbiotic relationship between plants and soil mycorrhizal fungi. In a laboratory, scientists have managed to expedite this symbiosis n a plant that typically resists it.
