Agriculture is the science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising livestock.

Industry is a group of manufacture that produce a particular goods.

Agriculture and Industries are Interdependent.

The Impact of agriculture on industries....
Like Sugarcane for sugar industry, animals skin for leather industry. Dairy industry also require raw material that come from agriculture.

When we make a dishes, we needs oil and it oil comes from seeds of Mustard, Sunflower, Groundnut etc. Textile industries require cotton and silk. So we say that industries cannot run without agriculture.

Similarly, agriculture is also dependent upon industries. The tools required for agriculture like harrowing, planking, tractor, harvesting are also produced from industries. Nowadays frozen product and dehydrated product is also available.

So, we say that industry is not substitute of agriculture and similarly agriculture is also not the substitute of industry. They are complementary to one another.
