The economy of Bangladesh is mainly based on agriculture

Agriculture is a well organized dynamic science today. Improvement of agriculture will improve the development of the whole nation. With the destruction of the country, the nation will be destroyed. 80 people in Bangladesh are engaged in agriculture. Agriculture has been playing an important role directly and indirectly to meet all the needs of the people.

The importance of agriculture is discussed below:

1. Fulfilling the basic needs of the people ---
   For example- (food, clothing, housing, medical, education, and recreation) etc.
   
2. Fill the fuel requirement
3. The industry is required to produce raw materials.
4. The role of agriculture in solving the unemployment problem is immense.
5. Agriculture has the greatest potential to increase national income.
6. Foreign currency is possible to achieve.
7. The creation of agricultural equipment market.
8. Removal of dependency.
9. Revenue growth
10. National production increase and food security.
11. Improve the quality of life.
12. The main role of agriculture is to protect health and nutrition.
    
    If the agriculture is going to give so much to the nation, why agriculture and farmers are neglected?
