Bishnupur subdivision of Bankura District famous for terracotta, temples and balucheri sarees .
Here begins the short description of the famous temple there: 
- Rasmancha :its the oldest brick temple , built by king Bor Hambir. The temple has an elongated pyramidical tower surrounded by hut shaped turrents a very typical bengali style structure.
- Jor Bangla temple :Built by king Raghunath Singh Dev. The ornate terracotta carving are a good example of bengal architecture.
