Teniendo presente el concurso del compañero @critic-on, donde explica la presentación de un compañero de la naturaleza que a diario está con nosotros y siguiendo esas líneas, aquí les traigo una pequeña planta que diariamente forma parte del quehacer en mi hogar, él es Toby.

Toby es un pequeño cactus, planta muy especial, fue bautizado con ese nombre por mi hermosa hija como reconocimiento el cactus de una de sus series favorita la Sheriff Callie en el Oeste de Disney Junior.
El nombre científico es Cactaceae de la familia Cactaceae; Juss., 1789, los cactus se adaptan a varios tipos de clima, pueden desarrollarse también bajo poca luz, son muchas y variadas las especies que existen y en esta oportunidad les traigo uno de maceta para jardinería.
Hace poco menos de un año llego a nuestras vidas, fue como caída del cielo y al ser vista por mi hija quedó encantada al decir, papi tiene puyitas como Toby. Desde entonces se le colocó ese nombre y se ha convertido en parte de nuestras vidas.

Cactaceae es muy poco informativo. Alcanza 176 gêneros y 2273 especies.
El nombre Toby tampoco informa mucho.
