Apparently ravens and wolves have an interesting symbiotic relation.
Wolves are an apex predator. Ravens are notorious scavengers.
Ravens fly and have great eyesight. So the ravens will identify potential prey and lead to the wolves to the prey.
The wolves will take down the prey and enjoy the first part of the feast. The ravens will then fly in and enjoy the leftovers.
Now for The Fun Part
There are reports that ravens like to play with wolf pups. Who can resist a puppy? Some report that the ravens will actually care for and guard the puppies while the adult wolves engage in the hunt.
I asked Night Cafe to generate the image above of a wolf hunting with a raven. Here is the high rez image
Groupers and Octopodes
The underwater worlds has some interesting symbiotic relations. It appears that groupers and octopodes hunt together.
A group is skilled at finding and chasing prey. Small fish have learned to scurry under rock and coral.
The octopus have learned to follow the grouper. An octopus will use its tentacles to scour under the rocks. The grouper will corral up the fish as they leave the coral. The octopus and grouper will then enjoy the feast.
NOTE: Notice how I used the term coral and corral in the same sentence. It is enough to make me want to sing ... in a choral group. Hmmm, is a fish that hangs out with singers a choral grouper?
I asked Night Cafe to create a fanciful image with a Grouper and an Octopus. Here is the high rez version and my Night Cafe profiles
