Have you heard of neuralink? It's a developmental technology aimed to interface humans and computers directly through our brains, and the thing I find especially interesting about that is the idea that our brains really aren't that different from the other animals on Earth, so in theory after a time passes it will also be possible to interface animals with our technology and potentially communicate with them to some degree. Maybe sounds like science fiction, but I think in the coming years it will be possible. In the meantime don't mistreat animals because they might tell us all about it later on.
