      Invent robot fighters that includes fighter jets, army and navy. Replacing all the human interaction required to fight wars. In the end, a missile defense system to protect incoming missiles from hitting their operation centers or we can call it the bee hive or the brains of all the machines operating on ground space, air and underwater.

      I think USA will be the first to do that.

                Countries/states/governments is not as efficient as private companies.
                So with high probability leading positions in development of something as sophisticated as an AI will be in hands of corporations/monopolies.
                Those entities are not so obsessed about weaponry. They are about profits.
