lal bahadur sastri was 2nd prim minister of india .he was a example of loyel men .he led the country during the indo-pakistan bar in 1965.his slogan "jai jawan jai kisan"outstanding slogan very populer. the war formaly ended with tashkent agrement on 10 january 1966. he died the following day ,his dath planned murder. sastri was born at ram nagar ,varanasi in kayastha hindu family. sastri graduated with a first class degre in philosophy and ethics from vidyapith in 1925 he was given title --sastri. he was born on 2 october 1904.
