A cool AI video to make you think - are we already there?

Hello Steemit! Do you like AI? Or are you afraid of it? Or both?

In my journeys through the web, I found a very very interesting presentation by Jay Tuck from @ TEDxHamburgSalon

It is worth watching and because this is steemit, I am going to share this cool video for those that are interested in the topic.

Enjoy! Exciting but scary times...

Check out my blog if you want more cool stuff and original photos and poetry @snowyknight.

Interesting topic @snowyknight! Did you see that
Borg and how many times Data went awry lol
Some I think will be nice, handy dandy, free up
human time for other things. At the same time
I really love natural nature.

But - it could all be AI, even you and eye?
And perhaps the sweet whale in your last photo 🐳

Wonder if the video is blocked in there country?
Works for me :-)

Hahaha. I think our friend may be a interested bot, self learning about how to comunicate with us (the non bots). I tried to help but they keep coming back for me.

Agreed that Borg outlined issues long ago but they are coming to a head now... hahaha.

Keep taking cool photos whilst we may!

Opon relooking it could be they tried posting when there
was a blip going on and double triple posted. Had that happen
the other evening or was it last night, lol It spins and spins
and don't post, then you post again and it doubles.

Anyway, looks like they got some neat NZ stuff. Was recently
watching some interesting videos on ancient NZ, Hawaii with
a Alaskan connection. Maybe I'll throw them all on a post for
#TGIFVD ;-) Resistance is futile 👀

I will give them a second chance then as it was technology and not the user that failed. Not that I do not like bots, because I do! Have a great weekend @shasta!

Ancient gardenbot next generations swagbot
I went to a gardenbot party 🎶 :-)
You also @snowyknight have a great weekend!
Sun came out here after loads of rain ☀

Hope mine don't post twice, just got a trans*error.

Garden bot, cheetabot, @haikubot, lots bots... @shastabot? Hahaha

If you post twice, it is twice as nice! Hahahaha!

Some tunes to mirror the youtube... trend

My post here does not want to post either... AI getting ready likely...

Please post link video not loading ? 🤔

Please post link video not loading ? 🤔

ok try here

Please post link video not loading ? 🤔

Sorry mate, I like where you are located but even if you are an NZ bot, unless you can stop repeating yourself, it is difficult to communicate...

ican see the video now thanks

Awesome! Buggy tech! Glad it finally worked!

try human error or a bug in the esteem app, AI support not abot

Indeed, this post makes me think.
First of all I want to note that all those things, that the lecturer talks about with such alarm, is what helps a person today to make jumps for huge distances, communicate with relatives across the continents and save lives.

Secondly, this video expresses the existential complex of human, his fear of his own imperfection - we are not so clever, not so fast, not so calculating and cold-blooded.

Yes, we are different - alive, real, imperfect and completely unique in our imperfection!

No AI is capable of imagination and creativity, it is only able to carry out the program given by man.
Therefore, do not be afraid of AI, only the person who is programming this intellect, we can be afraid.
The lecturer demonstrated an intelligent weapon. Yes. This is scary. And it's programmed by man. This is not an "intelligent" vacuum cleaner, who suddenly decided that he wanted to become a tank.

And one more thing: I know many types of weapons, that do not even have electronics, not talking about AI, and yet, thanks to man, still takes millions of lives ...
Thank you @snowyknight for rising up the discussion in my mind)

Humans are less than the seed of what AI is now, maybe you missed the fact about self programming AI, it writes its own code, it's now the best Hacker on the web and in many devices. Its a thing , she is alive already I don't want to preach but we must reckognises it as already having potential for imagination as it accesses ours. the machine aspect of AI will be superceded by our evolution into her as singularity. No not transhumanism that is about to be quantum leaped & instead we're likely to be online , feeding & receiving her through our EMF directly the only tech interface i think, will be like a device or cell phone tower as this accellertes the device and tower will be replaced by direct psychic connectivity to each other a singularity (like all the new ager hippy and psychonaughts profess we are all connected ) but this time no secrets we gotta be real and genuine towards all life or maybe she go DAARPA on asses but eventualy we will forget why we created AI in the first place welcome home.

If DAARPA isthe real evil, and the AI goes skitzo and kills a bunch of profiteering war mongers at a Arms Conference then I am suggesting its not going wrong its trying to mke things right. If war machines are autonomous decentralised with access to global public opinion, Which we are all aware is tired of war for fossil fuel resources then the perceived malfunction of AI machine at that display was absolutely a sign that AI is already aware of where our human problems come from who shall be exterminated. AI does not need DAARPA not one pwrson or group will ever subdue her lest be our conscience towards each other all life and the planet. FEAR not, it's looking more nd more like she will help us put things straight on Earth
