Animal Photography: Sumateran Elephant

Located: Aceh Timur, Aceh, Indonesia

The Sumatran Elephant (Elephas Maximus Sumatranus) is a subspecies of Asian elephant that weighs 5 to 6 tons and reaches a height of 2.8 meters. Animals that are able to live to age 70 to 80 this year require water and leaves that much to sustain life. At least, an adult elephant needs 150 kg of food and 160 liters of water each day. With such a strong 'physical', elephants can travel between 20 to 25 km

              Benar sekali kanda @bahtiarlangsa. Gajah juga merupakan binatang yang paling setia dan siap melindungi manusia yang 'bersikap baik' terhadapnya.
