Whatsoever has a hyper state such as been diabetic where simply put is a state of having an abnormal high blood sugar level has an opposite which is been hypoglycemic.

Hypoglycemia is a state of having low blood sugar levels.
Glucose which is a monosaccharide sugar and is the principle source of energy for cellular metabolism is in insufficient levels( too low or unavailable)

Certain conditions could lead to one having a low blood sugar level.

In my view I wouldn't call hypoglycemia a disease condition but I see it more often as an indicator or signal of an underlying health problem.

It is life saving to treat this condition when it is in it's mild state not severe where one needs to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

To avoid this you need to be aware of all the symptoms related to hypoglycemia.
The include;

🔹Shakiness
🔹 Fatigue this means to lose so much strength or energy that you become so feeble (exhausted)
🔹An irregular hearth rhythm
🔹 Hunger
🔹Sweating
🔹 Pale skin
🔹Anxiety
🔹A tingling sensation around your lips that is irritable
🔹Fainting all of a sudden (loss of consciousness)

This signs and symptoms above comprises the mild symptoms there are more severe symptoms associated with Hypoglycemia and the include;

🔴Visual disturbances; your vision becomes so blur and this could be bad for anyone you could easily be a victim of an accident, have a fall and suffer from an injury.
🔴 In extreme cases you could suffer from coma
🔴 Convulsions
🔴 Easily confused and exhibit abnormal behaviors and may appear intoxicated.

Someone without diabetes has a fasting blood sugar below this value= 100mg/dl
The normal blood sugar level before a meal is usually within this value= 70-99mg/dl (3.9-5.5mmol/L)
2hrs after a meal your blood sugar level shouldn't be less than 140mg/dl (7.8mmol/L)
A fellow suffering from Hypoglycemia has his or her blood sugar levels below 70mg/dl or 3.9mmol/L.

An easy way of knowing or checking your blood levels is by running a fingerstick blood test using a glucose meter.

Am certain either one of us must have seen an individually looking so weak and moving clumsily and all of a sudden faints.

That fellow lost consciousness most likely because he or she is low on blood glucose levels and has no energy conserved to carry out cellular metabolism hence the product of this is he or she fainting.

Certain causes of this condition includes the following

◼ Anti diabetic medications could result to this condition when a diabetic patient is on this mediations to treat and normalize his or her blood levels the agent could cause a sudden fall in blood glucose levels.
This condition is also a side effect of the anti diabetic agents.

◼ Vigorous exercise within short interval's could make you expend so much energy in that process.

◼Long term starvation could cause hypoglycemia. The body acts on carbohydrates from the food we eat to release glucose so it is available to enter the cells of tissues with the help of a unique hormone known as insulin.

Excess glucose is stored in the liver and muscles in a conservative form known as glycogen.

◼ Anyone who consumes so much alcohol without eating could end up been a victim of this condition as what high levels of alcohol do in the blood is to ahead to block the liver from releasing the stored glucose hence resulting to the topic for discussion hypoglycemia.

◼ Ailments could as well result to hypoglycemia, ailments such as hepatitis, kidney disorders etc.

◼ Hormone deficiencies; Hormones that regulate glucose manufacture and other activities when deficient results to hypoglycemia.

◼ Insulnoma is yet another cause of hypoglycemia.

It is important never to ignore the symptoms accompanied with hypoglycemia because if you get such negative alerts from your system and yet ignore and continue the nature of lifestyle you live then the mild symptoms could lead to severe hypoglycemia.

Treatment

▪Eating meals on time especially carbohydrates in a case as this could handle a mild case of hypoglycemia.

▪It is easy to reach out for sweets, candy, glucose tablets, sugary drinks, fruit juice in your bag so always keep some of this in your working bag or hand bag if you've ever experienced mild symptoms of hypoglycemia.

▪Check your blood sugar level 15minutes after consuming 15gm carbohydrate to check if your blood glucose levels recovers.

Informative one @eunireal1
Hypoglycemia is really a big issue as compared to hyperglycemia, there are ways to lower down the blood pressure of patient who is suffering from hyperglycemia......but for patient with hypoglycemia, the only way is take him/her immediately to the hospital in severe cases.

You are very right dearest @vinamra. You just hit the nail straight on the head.
