Jake had it all planned out, a romantic dinner with friends and family disguised as customers at the most exquisite restaurant in town... Soon the lights were out, in a few seconds it was all red beautiful lights. He was on his knees, surrounded by their family and friends. He held in his hands a shiny diamond ring and said these magic words to Sandra "will you marry me?". Shocked and excited at same time, she nodded as tears of joy rolled down her eyes.

They were home, on the romantically decorated bed, it was going to be their first time, the stage was set, he had earned her love and deserved a pound of flesh, it was intense, with moans of excitement, the urge was strong.

They were getting married, part of the requirements was their HIV test results. That was the first time in 2 years any of them had made love, no fears of the unknown, they'd both tested negative barely six months ago and so this one felt like a mere formality so they made a quick dash to the @air-clinic where they met Dr George (@nairadaddy) who ran the test on them.

After a brief moment a nurse came and directed them to the counselling room. "Jake? I'm sorry, you tested HIV positive, Sandra? You're negative”. The psychologist said. "But how"? Exclaimed Jake. “I didn't use protection on you, but how?" He quickly remembered, he'd borrowed his best friend's clipper (Dickson the Playboy), it had to be him, Dickson never goes for HIV tests, he doesn't even believe in it's existence.

"My life is ruined" he said to himself as reality dawned on him. Sandra couldn't hold the tears as she muttered these words “the happiest moment of my life is slowly turning into a nightmare”. Their sweet love tale had ended in tears, not of joy but of sorrow. She couldn’t take the risk of marrying someone who’s positive.
