#Latvia's leading airline #airBaltic confirmed its positive approach to crypto by enabling customers to book tickets with digital assets including ETH, DOGE and BCH. The company previously enabled payments with Bitcoin and 4 stablecoins .
Dogecoin and Ethereum will now be used for air travel
AS Air Baltic Corporation, also known as airBaltic, has been taking a pro-digital approach in Latvia for years. The company became one of the first passenger aircraft to accept payments for airline tickets in the primary cryptocurrency in 2014.
Earlier today, airBaltic announced the addition of a new coin set that allows customers to choose between more tokens when booking flights. Among them are the best-known BTC fork BCH, the second-ranked ETH by market cap, and the recently popular coin DOGE.
As a result, the company is currently accepting a total of 8 cryptocurrencies. Apart from the 4 cryptocurrencies mentioned above, it also added four altcoins fixed in the US dollar: GUSD, USDC, PAX and BUSD.
When users choose their desired service on airBaltic's website, prices will be displayed in euros, but when they pay for them, the selected crypto asset will be automatically converted into euros at the current exchange rate set by BitPay.

The joke coin has been rapidly increasing in popularity lately. The primary reason for this was of course Elon Musk's constant support. Among the many pro-DOGE tweets, rapper Snoop Dogg also drew attention. Then DOGE has become a sensation among well-known people.
