Pop.Up Next consists of two modules
Audi and Airbus are partnered with Italdesign (a VW affiliate), demonstrating a resembling droning taxi / electric car at the Geneva Motor Show. The invention is called Pop.Up Next and consists of two modules, such as vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) including a capsule and a car base. Both modules are electric and completely autonomous.

The drones (quadrocopter type) can transport two people and deliver them to a modular car with which to continue on four wheels. The idea behind the new device is to be able to order a taxi through your phone and quickly bring you this Audi capsule.

The device's purpose is to help tackle congestion and make it easier to navigate in big cities. So far, there are no specific technical parameters, and according to Audi, the concept is quite flexible.
