Optimism Airdrop Round 2

Let’s talk about Optimism round 2 and how to be eligible to their airdrop, and in the same time earn some juicy yield on our stables in a safe way.

First of all, we need some Eth on Metamask, we can transfer Eth from our favorite exchanges like Binance or Ftx, after that we will have our Eth on Metamask under the Ethereum chain.

Now we have to bridge our Eth to Optimism chain, i suggest using the Official bridge https://app.optimism.io/bridge/deposit, this may be a eligibility criteria. We can also use other bridges that don’t have a token yet but can released it in the future, like Orbiter https://www.orbiter.finance/.

Alpha here: you can bridge with Stargate finance https://stargate.finance/transfer, layer zero will come one day and maybe some airdrop will come to them who bridged with their dapp.

Now that we have our funds on Optimism we can start trying some Dapps, that don’t have a token yet and make us eligible also for Optimism Round 2 at the same time (many birds with one stone:))

First we use Kwenta https://kwenta.io/ and swap 95% of our Eth in sUSD, next we open some trades to create Volume and Transactions on their Futures section (we can close trades immediately if we don’t want exposure to the volatility of the crypto market). Then we swap back our sUSD in Eth.

Now we can go to Clipper exchange https://clipper.exchange/ and swap 95% of our Eth in Usdc, we can also add liquidity but first we have to subscribe to be in their whitelist, cause pool have limited accesibility.

Now we go to Pika protocol https://pikaprotocol.com/#/home, make some trades to create some Volume and put liquidity, Usdc, on our case in their vault (there are 3 days waiting period for withdraw when you put liquidity in the Vault, i suggest using more than 30$)

After using this 3 Dapp, i think is smart to hold some funds on the Optimism chain in a safe way of earning yields.

I will put 40% of my Usdc on Stargate Finance and farm their token stg (can be a criteria for their layer zero Airdrop)

Put another 40% of my Usdc on Uniswap on 50/50 usdc/usdt pool (we swap half of our usdc in usdt using the swap function)

And put the remaining 20% on Aave to earn some safe yields
