Airdrop is a data transfer technology with two iPhones nearby. Now this is coming to Android. The name is 'Nearby Sharing'. XDA developers are testing two smartphones in the Google Pixel series running Android 7 operating system.
After testing this feature between the Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 4 phones, there is hope. It was formerly known as 'fast share'. This is considered the next success of Google's Android Beam.
