This is one of the best Mondays ever!
When I woke up this morning, the first e-mail I received was SHIPCHAIN tokens had already been distributed into my MetaMask account.
I received a total of 117.64 SHIP tokens. π

Getting involved in the crypto world had taught me so many new skill sets.
Not only did I learn about various types of alternate cryptocurrencies, different wallet setups and airdrops, I also have so much to learn about tokens as well as editing contracts.
The world of cryptocurrency has been endlessly fascinating!
Cryptocurrency has enriched my life tremendously.

The cryptoworld seems like an endless source of knowledge, new projects ideas and inspiration. Beware of it not becoming an obsession.

However, I'd like to remind you that airdrops are not entirely free.
In exchange for the free airdrops, you need to provide personal information such passport, address, e-mail and etc.
The dangers of crypto is that the content in your wallet is visible to audiences on the internet.
It is kind of like a form of invasion of privacy if you think carefully.
Nowadays, the wealth of personal information that organizations gather on us are terrifying.
They know our buying patterns, preferences, demographics and etc.
Data science is the new gold mine.

I didn't know you had to provide personal informations. But that's the most valuable currency there is in the present times. But it's still better to get something in exchange than giving it to Google or Facebook with no retribution at all.
And you're right, I'm terrified, that's why I give no information at all (to the extent of what's possible) but the faces of people when you tell them you don't have Facebook, Instagram or anything like that, and they see you making temporary e-mails each time you have to register somewhere.
For the transparency of crypto, I think that's essential as it could in the future prevent too much of inequality in wealth distribution if anybody knew exactly who owns what. But it must remains anonymous, or at least private (like Bitcoin with encrypted addresses). Gigantic inequalities will suffice to trigger some kind of a revolt, but no need to inspire hatred against specific people.
I've been accused of paranoia more than once, but I like it !
