AIRSOFT TIPS TO STARTING (

Hi there. I am very, super interested in starting Airsoft. I have been doing a lot of research into airsoft and i have hit a huge dead end.

WHAT GUN TO BUY

I have watched countless videos on what gun to buy and they are literally all saying the same thing ( Buy an M4).
Do not get me wrong the M4 series guns are very wonderful guns and are very affordable. I myself do not want to buy the same gun that everyone owns. The M4 is such a common gun the airsoft fields uses them as rental guns. I would perfer to be less common and lean more towards the G36- G36C guns. I think these guns just look so classic and from my knowledge not a lot of people run these guns on the field.

HOW TO START AIRSOFT

I have been to so many stores and spoken to so many different people and watched endless youtube videos on how to start airsoft. Im going to save you the trouble and make your life easier on your life. The just of what 90% of the people will tell you can be summed up into a few simple steps.

STEP 1 (WHAT NOT TO BUY)

Do not and i mean do not go out and buy a R6000 airsoft gun to start with because you will just cause yourself a world of headaches. Those airsoft guns are like alien technology to the average airsoft player. I would rather suggest to go out and buy a second hand gun just to start off.

STEP 2 FOOTWEAR AND FACE PROTECTION

This should be your number one priority before buying a gun. Alot of the people that I spoke to said the most common injury is rolling your ankle because your running in an open field with loose rock and your ankle can get hurt very easily. Buy proper eye protection (NOT SUNGLASSES). The guns that will be shooting at you are firing 300-400 fps so they will break the glasses and most probably blind you.

STEP 3 PLAY FIRST

Go to your local airsoft field and use there rental gun to see if you enjoy the game before you spend thousands on equipment.
