Setting up Spreadsheet on airtable.
To backup your posts, a very simple two-step is required
First, format a spreadsheet in Airtable that contains the following columns below
- Title of the post.
- Name for the text of the post.
- Name for the tags on the post.
- Thumbnail or Images for either the first image or for all the images on a post.
- Link to the finished post.
- Date because this will allow for filtering all completed posts to make space to focus on new posts and ideas.
Secondly, You can now write your own post. On the process of writing your document saving is automatic.
You can also copy and paste your post after formatting the original spreadsheet. Before I make posts, I have everything copied and pasted into Airtable in case the post does not go through. Though the browser might fail to save my post due to a network issue or crash with Airtable and all I had to do was copy and paste it in and try again.
UPLOAD A DOCUMENT
You can as well write your post on Microsoft word and upload it in airtable.
Learning How to use Airtable
While it might seem a little painful to take the time to learn a new system instead of using Microsoft Word or Excel, air table make so much sense because it has a mobile app and it is available on any device or computer. Want to write a post and have it ready for later posting while on the road? Air table makes it easy to copy and paste a post written on a desktop and delivered through eSteem! Have something in mind to write but there is no time to write it? Put the title into Airtable and then write the post at home.
