The well known singer "Akon" who gave us many super hit songs like Right Now and Sorry etc is launching a new kind of cryptocurrency called ‘Akoin’. The main thing is that it will be available for sale in two weeks. He hopes that it will bring more help his Lighting Africa Project, which aims to bring solar power to the whole of Africa. So this is a very good news for our crypto world. The more well known person will involve in this community the more growth we can see in the coming future.
During a conference, Akon explained why he is launching his own coin :
“I think that blockchain and crypto could be the saviour for Africa in many ways because it brings the power back to the people and brings the security back into the currency system and also allows the people to utilise it in ways where they can advance themselves and not allow government to do those things that are keeping them down.
