The State I hail from is Celebrating her Birthday today as it was created on 23rd of September 1987. Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria is a state located in the coastal southern part of the country and it is bordered on the south by the Atlantic Ocean. The State is blessed with so many natural resources as well as agricultural resources. We are also gifted with International and Local Talented icons in the Movie, Comedy and Music Industries.

The State was created by Ibrahim Babangida and the state consists of 31 Local government areas. We always mark our anniversary by Celebrating on every 23rd of September. The three colours the state is represented with are Orange, Green and White.
