There's a time and a place for hidden tattoos, but sometimes the tattoo in question deserves a spot more in the, well, spotlight. If you're bold enough to try the armpit tattoo trend, by all means, be my guest. But if you're going for something more traditional, your shoulder could be just the spot.
Don't know what you want yet? Whether you're filling a sleeve or your body is still a blank canvas, these shoulder tattoo ideas can help you figure out how you want to paint it.

I can definitely appreciate a well thought out, well designed and well placed tattoo. Personally, however, I have decided to never get one, since my first choice would've been a Tommy Hilfiger flag when I was around 15 years old..eek! Needless to say, I would've since cut off my own arm and beat myself bloody had I actually gotten that. Tattoos can be amazing pieces of art and self expression. My only advice is to be considerate of your age and state of mind when choosing which one to get.
