Apparently, I CAN NOT have peace of mind because once again I was nominated to a challenge, how can I keep educating you if you keep distracting me guys? C'MON! (but I'm enjoying this more than I should, so, nevermind).

So, I noticed that there's a SEVERE lack of metal in the platform, and I will change that, in this week my dear friends prepare to lets your hair loose to the wind and be ready to be delighted with lengthy solos because these are going to be 7 DAYS OF METAL!!!!

HELL FUCKING YEAH!!!
Let's start with my favorite album EVER because I don't know if I'll keep going with this challenge.

From the land of hydrolic presses comes STRATOVARIUS and their 6th album (I guess) VISIONS a thematic album which main concept is Nostradamus and his prophecies ( you know, the dude that spit non-senses and people and their confirmation bias say are the future). Formed by Timo Kotipelto singing, Timo Tolkki at lead guitars, Jens (crazy fingers) Johansson at keyboards, Jörg Michael at drums and Jari Kainulainen (good luck pronouncing that) at the bass, Stratovarius launched Visions in April 1997 giving power metal a touch of melodic and neo-classical that made them one of the most influential band in Finland and in the world (at least in the sub-genre).

My favorite on this album (and the one that made me fall in love with this band) is BLACK DIAMOND, a fast-paced song with a beautiful harpsichord introduction that any fan can immediately recognize, followed by the great vocal range and lyrics of Kotipelto one of the hallmarks of the band, the solos are as always stunning emotional and technical AS FUCK I would dare to say, closing with and harpsichord that fades to silence, it is...

No lyrics in this one guys, this is a pure neo-classical instrumental, from 0 to 300 from the beginning you can appreciate the quality of these musicians and the great composition of Tolkki, it slows a bit at the middle of the song (because we all needed it c'mon) to let the stage to a classical guitar performance JUST TO KICK OUR ASSES AGAIN WITH THE MOST INTENSE DUET OF KEYBOARDS AND GUITARS and fades with a keyboard and guitar that serves as an introduction to the next song, PARADISE, I bet this is what angels dream of... or maybe...

And lastly, we have the song that names the album VISIONS a 10 minutes metalgasm, with wonderful composition by Tolkki, Kotipelto and Johansson, this one is the most Nostradamus song of all, they even quote the guy a couple of time, this song has it all, ballad-like parts, fast AF parts, guitar solos, keyboard solos, prophecies it has is all, you name it, no much better, miss Lawrence, what does this song has?

I always being a rocker but everything changed when I listen to this album, at that moment I knew metal was my way and I wanted a dragon and a sword in my room, period... I don't have any of those...
