After years of searching, and a lot of disappointment and soggy tofu, I've finally found my favorite Asian fusion restaurant in Albuquerque. Fan Tang is located in a nifty little building on Central Avenue.

The interior is inviting, with beautiful, large windows opening up to the busy main corridor of Albuquerque's Nob Hill. Clean and well decorated, cozy and calming, it is a lovely location to share a meal with a loved one.
All of the food is made to order, so food restrictions and preferences can be taken into consideration in the kitchen. For once, the sweet and sour tofu was crispy and flavorful, which is hard to come by at many restaurants. The menu caters to many different types of diets, offering things like calamari, pho, curry, lo mein, and many signature dishes unique to Fan Tang.
The best part about the restaurant? For only 12 dollars, our family of three was able to enjoy two courses of delicious food. For a place that offers counter service, it sure tastes more like a gourmet restaurant. And once you're tucked inside one of the cozy booths, it sure feels like it too.
I failed to get pictures of the dishes, as they looked so appetizing upon serving we dug right in. But I did manage to get a picture of this little picky eater really relishing his veggie spring rolls and hoarding the delectable orange ginger sauce they are served with.
Looks good! Will drop by next time I'm in town. Resteemed.
