Alejandro Villanueva on Colin Kaepernick

“I don’t know if the most effective way is to sit down during the national anthem with a country that’s providing you freedom, providing you $16 million a year...when there are black minorities that are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan for less than $20,000 a year," Villanueva told ESPN in 2016.

This guy is a hero. The only active player to come out and stand.

The decline in sports has been a trend for a few years now. But the whole taking a knee is political 100%. The NFL could end it tomorrow if they wanted. You can´t dance in the end zone after a TD without getting a fine.

NFL players are at work in an entertainment industry. Their employers have the right to put a stop to it, if it causes a financial loss for the team. However, the owners seem to be caving in to their players. The NFL has jumped the shark.

The media is quite happy with this too, because they think it will only hurt President Trump´s support. Are they misguided. The majority of NFL fans supported Tim Tebow when he took a knee to pray. Yet, the NFL and the media had a problem with it. Something is not right here.

Either MSM and NFL is completely oblivious to market analysis OR they actually put their politics ahead of logic. I used to think the former, but I'm leaning toward the latter...

"politics ahead of logic" this is probably more the case.

It certainly feels contrived or even "demonic".

Confederate statues are viewed as offensive, while it´s totally OK to have satanic and communist statues in the USA. There has also been a wave of vandalizing Christian statues in the USA. Nothing is really said about it by the msm. I believe it is demonic and it´s name is communism.
