Nicki Minaj teases mermaid imagery for 'Bed' video.
A few weeks after dropping her Ariana Grande-assisted track "Bed," Nicki Minaj is back to tease the track's video, with clips showing her lounging on the beach in a mermaid costume.

The "Bed" video is set to release sometime on Friday, but in the meantime we have a good idea of its theme. Last month, just hours after dropping their track, Grande and Minaj shared a 15-second snippet of its steamy video, which showed both of them relaxing in a bubbly pool and playing underwater at a tropical beachside location.

With a new series of images and clips, Minaj has revealed that she, at least, will appear in the video as a green-haired, green-finned mermaid.

In additional posts, Minaj asked fans whether she should drop the video on Thursday night or on Friday, and then confirmed a Friday release. In the latter post, she tweeted a video that showed the video shoot under way, with Minaj writhing on the beach in her mermaid gear as handheld videos and drones capture the footage.
Bed" is the latest track to be revealed from Minaj's upcoming album, "Queen," which drops August 10. In her latest tweet, Minaj revealed that along with the video for "Bed," she may drop "smthn else tmrw too" as she counts down to the release of "Queen."

One Nicki Minaj fan got an unexpected response from the head Barb when she dared to criticize her career.

Social media user @WannasWorld offered Minaj some unsolicited advice, calling the Queens native’s latest body of work, “silly sh*t.”

“You know how dope it would be if Nicki put out mature content? No silly sh*t. Just reflecting on past relationships, being a boss, hardships, etc. She’s touching 40 soon, a new direction is needed.”

We can probably guess with Nicki having millions of followers across social media that the rapper is inundated with these type of critiques on a daily basis. But for some reason, this comment hit a nerve.Nicki went on a tirade against @Wannasworld, calling her “ugly” and “jealous.”
