Long time ago, there used to be a village where two brothers used to live. Ali Baba was the younger brother of Qasim. Ali Baba was a poor woodcutter and Qasim was a rich businessman. The reason for Alibaba being poor was that Qasim had The entire property of the share was transferred to his name.
Qasim never shared any of his money with his brother. Instead, he treated Ali Baba, his wife and son badly. Ali Baba was living his family in poverty by cutting wood. One day, when Ali Baba finished cutting wood in the forest,
So Alibaba heard the sound of the feet of many horses and saw many people on those horses and he hid himself and he climbed a tree and kept looking at the forty horsemen. Those people had bags full of gold and they took them to a big rock. And a man sitting on those horses shouted loudly, Open up, Sim Sim.
And a door opened in the rock and the man entered the cave. The rest of the horsemen also went inside the cave. After some time all the intruders came back outside. And one of the men shouted stop Sim Sim. Now Alibaba had understood that all these horsemen were thieves and robbers. When the thieves left,
So Ali Baba went to the door of the cave. He said the magic words and entered. He was amazed to see a lot of gold, silk, gems and golden crowns. Realizing that it is okay to steal from thieves, Ali Baba decides to take some gold home for himself and his family. When he reached home he showed the gold to his wife.
Ali Baba's wife wanted to know how much gold he had. She went to Qasim's house to borrow his wife's scales so that she could weigh the gold. She didn't want Qasim and his wife to know about the gold, so she said they were weighing the meat. Qasim's wife did not believe Ali Baba's wife.
And wondered where they got the money to buy meat. Now, Qasim's wife Janana wanted to know what exactly Ali Baba wanted to weigh. So he made a plan and put glue on the bottom of the scale and gave it to Alibaba's wife. The next day when Ali Baba's wife returned the scales, there was a gold coin stuck in the glue at the bottom of the scale.
Qasim's wife came to know his secret. When he told Qasim about his brother's gold, Qasim became very jealous. He went to Ali Baba's house and asked his brother where he got it from. When Ali Baba saw the gold coin, Ali Baba had to tell his brother about the cave and the forty thieves. Next morning Qasim went to the cave with ten donkeys and ten big trunks.
He came inside after telling the password but forgot the magic word to get out. The thieves found him inside and killed him. Now when Qasim did not return, Ali Baba went out to search for him. He found his brother's body hanging inside the cave and brought the body home. With the help of Qasim's maid Meera, Ali Baba buried Qasim well without telling anyone about the cause of Qasim's death. When the thieves returned to the cave they discovered that the body was gone and soon realized that someone else had discovered their secret. They set out to search for him in the city. They came up with several plans to find the man.
However, every time his plans are foiled by the clever Meera. Eventually the thieves found the house of the man they were looking for. They did not know his name was Ali Baba. The chief of thieves planned to kill the man who had stolen from them. He bought twenty donkeys and forty large kerosene jars with loose lids. He loaded two pitchers on the donkeys
And filled a pitcher with oil. He told his thirty-nine men to take their swords and daggers and hide inside the pitcher. He ordered them to come out and be ready to attack the man who had stolen from them. The leader of thieves filled the fortieth pitcher with oil. He then went to Ali Baba's house, pretending to be an oil merchant, in need of a bed for the night.
Ali Baba gave him food and a bed and a stable for his donkeys. The chief of thieves left his forty pitchers in a long row in the courtyard. Meera came to know of their plan and killed all thirty-nine people by pouring boiling oil on them. When the chief of thieves came to find out why his men were not ready to fight,
So he saw that they were all dead and he ran away. A few weeks later the leader of thieves went back to the city in the guise of a businessman. He soon befriends Ali Baba's son, Khalid, who takes him home for dinner. Ali Baba invites her in, but soon Meera becomes suspicious of the man. After dinner, Meera danced with daggers to entertain the guest.
As soon as he finished speaking, he picked up his dagger and killed the dinner guest. All forty thieves were dead and Ali Baba and his family were safe forever. Ali Baba was so impressed by Meera that he offered his son for Meera. Khalid is happily married to Meera and they have a child.
Ali Baba decided to show Khalid the cave containing the treasure. Khalid promised that he too would show the cave to his son when he was old enough. And so Ali Baba and his family were never poor again.
