The Atacama Humanoid - This is Sirius..!

Fourteen years ago, in 2003, Oscar Munoz found the skeletal remains of a humanoid creature near an abandoned church in the ghost town of La Noria in the Atacama Desert, Chile. These are, however, no ordinary skeletal remains.

The skeleton is only 150mm in length, or 6 inches in the imperial measurements, the size of an average pen. It has hard teeth and a bulging head with a secondary bulge at the top of the head. The body is scaly and dark in colour. Unlike humans, it has nine ribs. Let’s be honest, it looks more like your traditional grey alien stereotype than human.

From the time Ata was discovered, it has been in the possession of three different people, however, it is now owned by Barcelona entrepreneur Ramon Navia-Osorio, who is also the head of UFO organisation the Institute for Exobiological Investigation and Study. Ramon has searched for answers to the origin of this creature and has allowed many tests to be carried out on the remains.

One such study has been performed at the highly reputable Stanford University in California. Gary Nolan, the director of stem cell biology at Stanford University’s school of Medicine said “I can say with absolute certainty that it is not a monkey. It is human – closer to human than chimpanzees. It lived to the age of six to eight. “Obviously it was breathing, it was eating, it was metabolising. It calls into question how big the thing might have been when it was born.”

Of the DNA tests he carried out, he adds: “The sequence that we got from the mitochondria tells us with extremely high confidence that the mother was an indigenous Indian from the Chilean area. The other thing that immediately fell out of the analysis is that it’s male. It probably died in the last century, if I were to make a guess.”

Dr Nolan also goes on to say that the specimen had “an apparently severe form of dwarfism and other anomalies.” However he concedes: “The observed abnormalities do not fall into any standard or rare classification of known human pediatric disorders.

So here we have a Stanford scientist proposing that the remains are human, from a boy who lived until he was 6 or 8 years of age and more than likely had a disorder that matches no disorders that we have ever seen within the human species and that its DNA is ‘closer’ to human DNA than Chimpanzees. I’m still undecided on this one. I think further study is required to clarify the origins of this creature.

Dr Steven Greer, the creator of the movie “Sirius” also has his opinions on the origins of Ata. He believes that Ata is proof of extraterrestrial life that has visited Earth in the past and intends to prove this theory in time. Could this really be an alien from another world..? Or is it a one off anomaly of human nature. If it was 150mm in length at the time of its death, then how small was it when it was born..? How could something so small survive in the harsh desert of Atacama for so long a hundred years ago.

There are plenty of questions that remain unanswered in regard to Ata. I’m sure we will have these answers in the near future. With independent analysis and transparent scientific study being performed on Ata, the origins of this mysterious creature will soon be known.
