#BlackLivesMatter is #AllLivesMatter. Much of the argument is simply misinterpretation of what each side is trying to #voice. Hear me out:
A #BLM (black lives matter) will scoff at an #ALM (all lives matter) when she says "officers are not just shooting people because they're black! " Well.. ALM is only half right here, but ALM means something other than what the BLM takes from it. For example, does an #officer walk up to a car and end up shooting an black in fear of a gun that isn't there because he doesn't like black people? No (at least we hope not). BUT, do #stereotypes and #unconsciousAssumptions from the world in which an officer grew up make him more jumpy, nervous, and or trigger happy because he sees a man is #black? Yes, sure as hell. Is this ok? Of course not!
The real controversy is rooted in #misinterpretation of vocalized #outrage from both sides. BML is making a bit of a jump or at least wording there point poorly. Uncontrollable, unconscious assumptions exists, but they do not make an officer a racist murderer . It pains me to say, but there is a difference between #manslaughter and second or first degree murder. Officers do not killed because the victim is black, but rather because true #RacialEquality is not here yet. Social movements are quick in formation, but true #change (and especially with people), takes time.
BLM is calling attention to the fact that, as of now, it doesn't seem like 'all lives matter.' Many innocent blacks DO end up abused by law enforcement. If they were to call their movement all lives matter, there would be no clear statement addressing a truly #saddening problem. Both sides need to step back and accept what each other is trying to say along with the uncontrollable #RealitiesOfOurTime.
