The Shortest Treatment Period For Pneumonia Patients

in allergies •  9 months ago
The shortest treatment period for pneumonia patients is 3 days and the longest is 36 days. In adult patients, the highest percentage of length of stay is 8-14 days, with the shortest treatment being 4 days and the longest being 27 days. Treatment for pneumonia includes:
  • Antipyretic and analgesic drugs, such as ibuprofen or paracetamol, to relieve fever and pain.
  • Medicine to relieve cough.
  • Antibiotic drugs, to treat pneumonia caused by bacterial infection.
  • Antiviral drugs, to treat pneumonia caused by viral infections.

As long as there are no symptoms of allergies, intolerance, or even malabsorption after consuming it, it's okay for people with pneumonia to consume milk. Consumption of milk will not necessarily make pneumonia symptoms worse or also delay healing.
