How to grow garlic

If you havent already started growing your own garlic it isnt too late.
You can pick up garlic from your local garden centre or many of the discount shops akso have these in.
Garlic needs a stint of cold weather to start the growing process so here in the uk there is certainly no problem with that. You seperate the bulb into cloves being careful not to damage the base plate where the roots will develope. Then simply place into modules of multi purpose compost or alternitively straightvinto the ground leaving the very tip visable.
Heres how ive started some of mine off.
