Genesis 1:26
And God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeper upon the earth.
Many people fail to understand this particular scripture especially the part of image and likeness. Many term God's image and likeness to be in a physical perspective.
The world has over 7 billion people so His image and likeness cannot come from a physical perspective because God doesn't have 7 billion faces. How are we then created in his image?
We are meant to act like Him, think like Him, your spirit man was created to be like God. That is how we were meant to be. The soul that sins shall die: when you sin with your mortal body your soul goes for judgement because that is what was meant to be like him
